I joined a Christmas party at a house church in Rokko Island, Kobe. Members of this church talk, eat, and pray a lot. We had a Sunday service in the morning, had lunch together, and changed into the Christmas party. Many Chinese people also joined the party and their hand made Chinese foods were wonderful. The party didn’t have the atmosphere that we have to evangelize people just like other churches in Japan but family members and friends got together to spend fun time together. Kobe city is the place where Tetsujin 28 was born so church members did some short performances and everyone exploded with applause. People who joined the party for the first time said it was fun and they were like a big family so they wanted to come back to this church.
How was the time when Jesus came to this world as a baby?
The environment and situation were totally different from nowadays but the joyful and wonderful news was the same.
