おもろ

おもろとは、沖縄の方言で「思い」が語源です。
古くは、宗教行事で思いを歌うものだったそうです。

写真は、那覇空港のラウンジで写したものですが、飲み物からも沖縄らしさが伝わります。

律法の専門家が、「律法の中でたいせつな戒めはどれか」と質問します。
ルカの福音書では、「何をしたら永遠のいのちを受けられるか」と質問しています。

日本の教会も、何を守らなければ～、あるいは、何をしなければ～に陥る傾向があるのではないでしょうか。

時を超えて主イエスの答えは、「心と思い、力の限りを尽くしてあなたの神である主を愛せよ」です。

あなたは、毎日の生活の中で、アーメンとこたえていますか？

母の日に想う

４月に主の復活を喜び、５月の母の日に、あらためて主の素晴らしさを思い起こす時となりました。

ユダヤ教のお話ですが、過越しの最初の儀式前に、燭台に明りを灯して祈りを捧げる場面があります。
厳格な（世俗派ではない）ラビの教えでは、燭台に明りをつけるのは女性だけです。

通常、正統派のユダヤ教の家では、女性が宗教儀式を行う特権がありません。
この過越しで奉仕をする真の意味は、キリスト者には明確に示されています。

最初の女性であるエバが主の栄光を消しました。
しかし、女性であるマリヤの胎を通して、栄光の主が地上に誕生しました。

このような主のみこころを知る時に、神が女性を創造してくれたことに感謝し、母親を敬う想いが湧いてくるのです。

申命記　５章１６節

With or without experience

It’s possible to enjoy various virtual experiences these days. When a mission team from Hawaii was staying in Sapporo, they did sightseeing in one day. They went to Sapporo Disaster Prevention Center and simulated fire and earthquake.

Children in Japan are lack of real experiences. There are many children who can’t sharpen a pencil with a knife or climb a tree. More than that, children who had never been scolded or told, “I love you.” by their parents are increasing. There could possibly be some causes, such as family, society, education, and so on.

In the same way, Christians in Japan might be lack of real experiences. If you have never given birth, you don’t understand how big the expectation, anxiety, suffering, and joy are. We can say the same thing when we guide a non-believer to the Savior and he or she is born again. Church is not virtual experience. We are the body of Christ which we go out to the field and enjoy the harvest.

James 2:18

The changing standard

This photo is my bag that I had used overseas. The size of carry-on bag was changed in December, 2009 and the total height, width, and depth have to be within 115 cm. (That means, I had to buy a new one since I can’t use this bag as a carry-on luggage.) People think why it changes a lot, get angry, and complain but they will forget about it a few months later.

On 19th of April, 2011, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology announced a radiation dose that we can expose in 1 year was changed to 20 mSv as an allowance dose at school buildings and playgrounds. Until now, the radiation dose was 1 mSv in 1 year. That means, it increased 20-fold. Japanese government hasn’t explained how they decided this radiation dose and whether they consider about children’s feelings and internal exposure or not. This standard is totally different from a carry-on luggage. However, many people will forget about this as time passes.

What is the criteria of judgment for Christians? Churches are existed in secular but chasing after secularism is not the Lord’s will at all. Also, traditions, customs, theology, or interpretation which changes with times can’t be a standard because God’s word which doesn’t change and the Head which is the same yesterday, today, and forever are the absolute standard for Christians and churches.

Global population of 7 billion people!

It is estimated the global population in April, 2011 is 6 billion and 940 million people. 80 million people are added in 1 year so within this year it will be over 7 billion people. There is a national population census in India every 10 years and the result was announced in February, 2011. The official population in India is 1 billion and 200 million people and 180 million people had been added since the last census. (This number is the same as population of Pakistan which is the 6th biggest population in the world.) By comparison, China has 1 billion and 300 million people and 73 million and 9 hundred thousand people were added in 10 years. It is forecasted, India will be the biggest population in the world in 2025 but, to tell the truth, many people are not included in this population in India. They are dalites who are untouchable people and it was estimated there were more than 160 million dalites in 1992.

There are some countries whose population is decreasing because of a low birthrate and longevity just like Japan. Why does the population in the world keep increasing?

In Genesis, God says, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.” If you believe God, the Creator, created human beings like this word, you understand it is a natural phenomenon.

Charity concert for the victims of East Japan Great Earthquake

We will have a charity concert for the victims of East Japan Great Earthquake. The guest will be Reiko Tatsumi from Kobe city. Her testimony and sound of flute will bring peace in people’s heart. The concert will be from 11:00 a.m. on 28th of May and from 1:30 p.m. on 5th of June at Church on the Rock Nakanoshima. Entry fee is free and we will give an offering from this concert for the victims. All the offering will be used only for supporting them.

Volunteer groups and companies are doing various charities. The most important purpose for Christians is to love the Lord first and love your neighbors. Every Christian has a different talent but to follow God’s grace we are given is our purpose.

Freedom of selection

When I opened a drawer of chest near my bed at a hotel in Taipei, I found 3 books. I prayed people who will stay at this hotel will choose to read the Bible because I don’t have right to exclude the other 2 books. In China, North Korea, and some other countries, there is no freedom to choose. In some other countries, people say there is freedom of religion but their choices are limited.

How about Japan? If evolution or communist thought is taught and the Bible is criticized at schools and on media, what’s going to happen? As the result, we will be raised as atheists before our ability to think by ourselves is fostered, like Chinese, North Korean, and Russian.

I believe everyone has a heart to seek God when we are entirely-new. That’s why atheists want to seal up the Bible and Jesus Christ. Aren’t we human beings because we have freedom, inquiring mind, and capacity of imagination in any eras and countries?

Economy class syndrome

I think some people don’t like traveling by plane for a long time. Since many economy class passengers caused this symptom, it is called "economy-class' syndrome. The reason is they are lack of body water and don’t get enough exercises. In short, passengers are in one position too long. They eat high carbohydrate food and spend time into a given space and in a dry environment on the flight. Some people think is this all? However, a blood clot in blood vessel might cause serious symptoms. Drinking water, stretching, and exercising can prevent this symptom.

A church is a body of Christ which is Ecclesia. This body goes out to the world from a limited space to do good deeds. Also, we receive not only living bread but also living water and grow up healthfully. This body loved by the Lord is a wonderful fellowship which loves each other.

インドの偽パイロット

いつも驚かされるインドネタですが、前回滞在中に衝撃のニュースが話題となりました。

昨年は、ある航空会社が貨物室に爆弾を積んでいたことが着陸後に判明！？
ちょうど、ホテルのレストランで、その航空会社の操縦士と話したのですが、「インドでは何が起きるか分からない。本当に怖い。」と漏らしていました。


そして、今回は・・・！？


ライセンスを持たない操縦士が相次いで、それも、複数の航空会社で発覚したのです。
もちろん、インドの路上では無免許の車、バイク、スクーターが溢れています。
しかし、まさか航空機の操縦士までとは。

乗客は当然、本当の操縦士と信じて搭乗します。
法律の網も、航空会社の同僚たちも気付かなかったわけです。

これは、今のキリスト教界にも起きうることです。

聖書にも偽使徒、偽預言者、偽教師が警告されています。
実際に、北米の大きなキリスト教団体や有名な聖書学校にも、いとも簡単に異端の団体は潜り込んでいます。

もしも、人間の判断基準に頼るなら、惑わされ、失望させられる結果となります。

真のキリスト者は、人間や目に見える組織、神学などではなく、イエスキリストに信頼するように指導するはずです。

そう、「彼に信頼する者は、失望させられることがない」と。

Does a fossil talk?

There is an explanation about wide range of evolution based on a fossil but why don’t fossil evolution and hypothesis which is evolution and estimation of fossil’s age match? There was no proof about their bones below which are told these are the proof of evolution, just like fossil.

Cro-Magnon man

You may hear these names. This should be granted but there are no living creatures which are evolving from monkeys to human beings. God, the Creator, created human beings as the image of God.

夕張メロンと宝もの

東京都内のあるホテル内にメロンの置物がありました。
どの位、高価なのかは分かりませんが、おもしろかったので写しておきました。

北海道には、観光客に大人気の「夕張メロン」があります。
毎年恒例の初競りで、０８年には２５０万円という高値がついたこともあります。

価値観は人それぞれでしょうが、これは驚愕の事実なのです。
ここ数年も、１００万円以上はキープしているので、それだけ支払う価値を感じる人がいるということです。
仮に、みなさんが多くの富を持っている場合、メロンにいくら支払うでしょうか？

聖書は、人が宝とするものに、その人の心があると教えてくれます。

この夕張メロンの値に驚いたキリスト者は、以下のように自問自答してみましょう。

「今日、自分は何に、思い・労力・時間・お金を最も費やしているのだろうか？」

移り変わる基準

写真は、今まで海外で酷使し続けたバッグです。

２００９年１２月から機内持込手荷物の基準が変わり、３辺の合計が１１５ｃｍとなりました。
（過去に使用していたバッグは買い替えることになります）
人々は、当初、なぜ？と怒りを覚え、それが不満となり、数か月もするともう記憶の隅に追いやられてしまうのです。

２０１１年４月１９日、文部科学省は、学校等の校舎・校庭等の利用判断における放射線量の目安として、年２０ミリシーベルトという基準を、福島県教育委員会や関係機関に通知しました。
それまでの基準は一年間で１ミリシーベルトですから、何と２０倍です！

その後も、日本政府からは、本基準の決定プロセスに関しては、何一つ情報が開示されていません。また、子どもの感受性や内部被曝が考慮されなかった理由も説明されてもいません。

これは、バッグを買い替えるのとはわけが違う安全基準です。
しかし、多くの国民は、このことも時間の経過とともに忘れてしまうでしょう。

キリスト者の生き方の、また、判断の基準はどこにあるのでしょう。
教会は世俗という世界観に存在しています。
しかし、世俗主義に流されることは決して主のみこころではありません。
また、人の伝統や習慣、時代とともに変わっていく神学や解釈も基準とはなりえません。

キリスト者には、移り変わることなき神のみことばが、
教会には、昨日も今日も永遠に変わることがないかしらという絶対基準が存在するからです。

イザヤ書　４０章８節

世界人口７０億！

２０１１年４月の世界人口は６９億４千万人と推定されます。
一年で８千万人が増える計算ですので、年内に７０億突破は間違いないでしょう。

インドでは１０年に一度の国勢調査が行われ、今年２月に結果が発表されました。
公式の発表では１２億人で、前回から１億８千万人（人口第６位のパキスタンの総人口と同じ）増加したことになります。
ちなみに中国は１３億で、この１０年で７３９０万人の増加でした。

２０２５年前後には中国を抜き世界トップとなると予想されていますが、
じつは、人口には含まれていない数多くの人々がいます。
それは、ダリット（不可触民）で１９９２年の時点で１億６千万人以上と推定されています。

日本のように、少子高齢化から減少する国も存在します。
なぜ、世界の人口は減少せずに、増加し続けるのでしょうか？

創世記には、神が「生めよ、ふえよ。地を満たせ。地を従えよ。」と語る場面があります。
創造主である神が、そのように人を造られたからと信じるなら、自然な現象であることが理解できます。

東日本大震災チャリティコンサート

東日本大震災の被災者支援のため、チャリティコンサートが行われます。
ゲストは、神戸の辰巳玲子さんです。
彼女の証とフルートの音色は、人々の心に安らぎをもたらしてくれるでしょう。

ＣＯＲ中の島では、５月２８日午前１１時からと６月５日午後１時３０分からの二回です。
参加は無料で、被災者支援をしたい方は、自由献金の時があります。
この献金は１００％被災者の支援にだけ使われます。

ボランティア団体や民間企業も様々なチャリティを行っています。

キリスト者の目的は、第一に主を愛し、そして、隣人を愛するために行います。
それぞれの賜物は違いますが、与えられた恵みに従うことが目的です。
