宣教に関わる者たち

時間が経ちましたが、７月１８日にＩＳＭの半日観光に参加しました。
小樽～大倉山～羊ヶ丘展望台と満喫しました。（昼食はもちろん、なるとです！）

参加者は、アメリカ、メキシコ、ケニア、ロシア、バングラデッシュなど国際色豊かで、みんなが宣教に関わる人たちでした。
通訳兼ガイド役は、ＣＦＮＪの国際部長Ｇ・グドールさんでした。

日本にいると、宣教とは無関係なことに多くの時間がとられてしまいます。
また、小さな事に心がふさがれそうになりそうになります。

僕たち日本人は、もっと大きな視点を持つ必要があります。
世界中で、福音が広がり続けていることを知ると、心がときめき、奮い立たされる思いです。

ソウル・サーファー

べサニー・ハミルトンという女性サーファーの人生を描いた実話です。

１３歳でサメに襲われて片腕を失いますが、この悲劇を通してクリスチャンとして、また、サーファーとしても成長する姿が感動を与えます。

以前に本を読みましたが、今回は機内の映画で見ました。

人生において、涙の谷を通ることは、神へのさらなる信頼へと変えられます。

詩篇　８４編５～７節

The Great East Japan Earthquake – A scholar and an unexpected problem

It was broadcasted that the government couldn’t manage well and information was snarled right after the earthquake but before then, professionals kept saying “it was an unexpected problem.” These professionals explained difficult things for a long time on TV. After the explanation, when a host asked them a simple question, the professionals answered, “We can’t answer this question in the current seismology.” How many times did we hear the word, “unexpected problems”?

It’s not scholar’s fault but professionals in this world are like this. Professionals shouldn’t leave the clear impression that they can work out everything and listeners shouldn’t think they are correct because professionals said it.

It is clear that theology is the same when we look back the history. Research in this world has always unexpected problems. The Lord, Jesus, was an excellent educator for disciples but He didn’t raise them in a classroom or on a desk. He let them experience God’s word is the truth in a field of this world and showed us Father in Heaven who has emotions and will and loves us.

Job 42:5

People who live on the street

There are people whom we can’t recognize as a homeless at first glance in Sapporo. They look nice and sell magazines on the street to become independent. Since winter in Sapporo is cold and long and the number of homeless is small, it’s difficult to find them. On the other hands, we also can’t recognize as a homeless in India because there are so many people who sleep on the street.

Each country has a different situation. Bible tells us the true problem is poverty of our mind. Blessed is the one who understands this truth because he is ready to meet the Savior.

A car, my mother, and her life

This photo is a mileage on my mother’s car. Her car is 1 year newer than a car of our church but her running distance is longer than the church car. When I was a child, she didn’t walk but drove a car all the time. Recently, she mentioned she would junk her car without taking a car inspection this year. In past days, I asked her not to drive a car but walk but since she told me to junk her car, I was then worried about her.

A time like this will come for everyone. When we believe Jesus Christ and proclaim Him, we receive the eternal life but our time in this world is limited and a clock is moving. Although you have a hard time or problems in your life, if you trust in the Lord and live with Him, you will be blessed.

The Great East Japan Earthquake – My wife and support activity

This photo is my wife’s support activity in the devastated area. Her job was to shovel dirt from a devastated house and throw away scrap woods torn down by men. She was happy to do it and she was the one who said she would go to the affected area. (When Hokkaido Nansei-oki Earthquake occurred in 1993, she went to Okushiri island as a volunteer. )

I re-realized her faith and just praised the Lord.

James 2:22~23

東日本大震災・超巨大氷山の誕生

日本で起きた津波が、１万３千キロ離れた南極で、棚氷を破壊し巨大氷山が誕生しました。
縦９・５キロ、横６・５キロと、想像を絶する大きさのかたまりが漂流を始めたのです。

宇宙から見ると、地球には境界線はありません。
この地球で起きたことは、この地のどこかに影響をもたらします。

日本の教会は、長年に渡り、変化の無い状況で無力感すら感じているかもしれません。
悪魔は、自分の存在や人生には、何の価値もないと偽りを語るでしょう。

しかし、悪い出来事も地球のどこかに影響を与えるなら、この小さな日本で、誰か一人が救われることは、必ず良い影響をもたらすと信じます。

主よ、どうぞこの地を、津波のように神の福音が覆いますように。

コロサイ人への手紙　１章６節

ヤコブの井戸と生ける水

インドの井戸を覗いてみると、一面に緑色の藻のようなものが浮いています。
日本で生まれ育った人には、この水を飲むことができません。
しかし、この井戸はおろか、虫が湧いている水溜りの水しか飲めない人もいるのです。

インドの夏は狂ったような暑さです。
内陸部では、５０度を超えることもあります。

世界の多くの人々にとって、飲料水は生きるために不可欠であり、命に係わるものです。
それは、サマリヤの女性にとっても同じでした。
彼女は、あえて、他の人が来ることが無い時間に井戸に来ました。
肉体は生きていましたが、心は乾ききっていたのです。

イエス様はこの女性に語られました。
「しかし、わたしが与える水を飲む者は、誰でも決して渇くことがありません。」

時代や国境を超えても、人類はこの渇きを体験しています。
主イエス・キリストだけが与えて下さる生ける水が必要なのです。
