早いもので、２０１１年最後の日です。
今年も、数多くの良いことがありました。

素晴らしいゲストのメッセージと賛美コンサートがありました。
ハワイチームとの友情が深まり、日本各地でも人が救われました。
一つとなってペンテコステに祈り、一致してクリスマスを祝いました。
海外宣教では、驚くべき奇跡と成長が見られました。

人には、すべてが認識できなくても、毎日、主の恵みはふりそそがれています。

今年は、幸運にもビックマックも２回当たりました。

イエス様を信じてから、毎日が喜びと祝福へと変えられました。
主の恵みは、数え切れないほどです。

What is the Nativity?

This is a photo in Taipei. There was a power shovel on a truck. After a driver stopped the truck, he got on the power shovel and came down from the bed.

In Christmas time, a play of the Nativity is staged and Christmas cards are sent. The Nativity is the event Jesus Christ came down to this world as a human being. It doesn’t mean anything about the date, 25th of Dec., Santa Claus, and a Christmas tree. The Nativity means Jesus Christ came down to the visible world from the invisible heaven, the Creator came to the created world and the light was lit in the darkness. A gift from Father in heaven came for all the people.

John 3:13

Dehydration

70 % of our body is made by water. That means people get thirsty. I am always careful about dehydration but once I forgot to drink water in India. After that, I had a fever and felt weary and listlessness, it took for a long time to recover from these diseases. When we have dehydration, a function of our body gets worse, such as ability to think, temperature adjustment, ability to exercise, and immunity deteriorate.

Believers know people feel thirst for our body and heart. The Lord, Jesus, experienced thirst on the cross. Although He is the one who gives living water to all the people, ・・・ He opened His mouth and said “I thirst.” He carried our thirst on His shoulder. This is God’s love with all His physical and spiritual strength. What a wonderful grace it is! What a wonderful mercy he has!

John 19:28

DVD of the Bible

Now is the time to receive God’s word in various ways. I want to introduce DVD that I received from my friend. Of course, the DVD has 66 books and we can choose Japanese version or English version. The best point is we can watch, read, and listen to the Bible.

I recommend it to people who are not good at reading and men and women of all ages. Japanese people have the image the Bible is the thing we have to read but faith comes by hearing, the Bible says. The most important thing is God’s word is curved in our heart.

What is mind control?

This is a technique which cult groups are using and they control people’s action, feeling, mind, and information without brainwash or forcing. Of course, people who are controlled don’t realize about it. Specialists in this world said, “If we use this mind control in a good way or with a good motivation, it’s good. If we use the mind control in a bad way or with a bad motivation, it’s bad.”

Is the mind control good or bad for Christians? The answer is “sin”. In Genesis, there was “a tree of knowledge of good and evil” in Eden. The Lord ordered people not to eat fruits from this tree but He didn’t bereave freedom from people. Of course, the Bible tells us to follow our leader or decide after leader’s advice but this technique controls people deliberately and it’s the same as Satan baited people.

This technique breaks various relationships or bonds and makes people depend strongly on cult groups. The Bible tells us to be guided by the Holy Spirit not to depend strongly on people or organizations.

Romans 8:14

Phantom Xiaolongbao. What is the secret?

Din Tai Fon was chosen as the best 10 restaurants in the world by NY Times. Many people are waiting in front of the main restaurant in Taipei for a long time. It’s no wonder 1,500 people visits there on weekdays and 3,000 people visits there on weekends.

There is a glass-walled kitchen at the entrance and we can see chefs are cooking sho-ronpou there. We can see everything, such as thin skin, how to make folds, time from steaming to delivering, and so on. Chefs can’t cut corners and fudge on.

People who are serving God can learn from them. Is it possible to show everything in our heart and life like chefs in the glass-walled kitchen? In Psalm, it says, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.”

Kneel down in front of merciful Lord and pray to Him.

真冬のぬくもり

今年もクリスマス祝会が行われ、ある人がこう言ってくれました。
「いいクリスマスでしたね。これこそ、教会のクリスマスですね。」

また、ある人はこう言いました。
「イエス様の誕生を祝う。それだけでこんなに暖かい時となるんですね。」
今年は、ゲームやスキットなどはなく、例年よりシンプルな内容でした。

外はマイナスですが、教会は、暖かいぬくもりに満ちていました。
おそらく、羊飼いや東方の博士も体験した神のぬくもりでしょう。

イザヤ書　７章１４節

降誕とは

台北で写した画像です。
運搬車の上にショベルカーがありました。
停車した後に、運転手がショベルカーに乗りこみ、そのまま荷台から降りてきました。

クリスマスの時期になると、降誕劇が行われ、ご降誕おめでとうございますと書かれたカードが届いたりします。

降誕は、イエスキリストが人として誕生したことを表します。

それは、１２月２５日という日時に意味があるのではなく、サンタクロースに意味があるのでもなく、ツリーに意味があるのでもありません。

それは、目に見えない天から目に見える地上に来たことであり、創造主（造り主）が被造物（造られた世界）に来たことであり、暗闇に光が灯されたということです。

そして、全人類のために、天の父からの贈り物（ギフト）が届いたのです。

ヨハネの福音書　３章１３節

脱水症状

人の体は７０％が水で構成されています。
つまり、人は渇きを覚える生き物です。

いつもは注意していたのですが、過去にインドで水分補給を忘れる状況がありました。
発熱や倦怠感、脱力感が続き、回復までにかなりの日数がかかりました。
脱水症状になると、様々な体の機能が低下してしまいます。
思考能力の低下、体温調節や運動能力の低下、そして免疫力の低下などです。

キリストを信じた者は、人は体と心の両方に渇きを覚えることを知ります。

主イエス様は、十字架上で渇きを体験されました。
本当は、全人類に生ける水を与える御方であるにも関わらずに・・・。
その口からは「わたしは、渇く」ということばが発せられました。

じつに、私たち全人類の渇きをも背負って下さったのです。

ここに、全身全霊を持って現わされた、神様の愛があるのです。
何という恵み、何といういつくしみ深さなのでしょうか。

ＤＶＤ聖書

今日ほど、みことばを様々な方法で受け取ることができる時代は無いと思います。
友人からもらったＤＶＤの聖書を紹介します。
もちろん、６６巻あり、日本語か英語かを選択することができます。

優れた点は、見ること、読むこと、聞くこと全てができることです。
読むことが苦手な人や、老若男女、誰にでもお勧めできます。

日本人は、聖書は読むものとイメージしますが、信仰は聞くことから始まると書かれています。
最も大切なことは、神のみことばが心に刻まれることです。

申命記　６章６節

マインドコントロールとは

カルトが用いるテクニックであり、洗脳や強制をせずに、人の行動・感情・思考・情報をコントロールする手法です。
もっとも、コントロールされている人にその自覚はありませんが・・・。

世の専門家は、こう言いました。
これは良いこと（または動機）に使えば良いものだし、悪いこと（または動機）に使えば悪いものである。

では、キリスト者にとってはどうなのでしょう。

創世記の中で、エデンの園に「善悪を知る知識の木」がありました。
主は、この実を食べてはならないと命じましたが、人の「自由意思」は奪いませんでした。

もちろん、聖書には指導者に従うことや、アドバイスを受けて判断することは書かれています。

しかし、このテクニックは、意図的に人をコントロールものであり、それは、サタンが人を誘惑した時と相通じるものです。

このテクニックによって、様々な「関係」や「絆」を破壊し、カルト団体に依存させていくのです。

聖書は人や組織に依存するのではなく、聖霊によって導かれるようにと教えてくれています。

ローマ人への手紙　８章１４節

幻の小籠包 その秘密とは

ＮＹタイムズで世界１０大レストランに選出されたのがディンタイフォンです。
台北にある本店は、番号札があり順番を待ちます。
それもそのはず、平日で１５００人、土日は３０００人もの人がおとずれるのです。

店内で目に入るのはガラス張りの厨房で作り続ける様子です。
透けて見えるほどの薄皮、ひだの付け方、蒸してから運ぶまでの時間など全てを見ることができるのです。
これでは、作る側は、手抜きもごまかしもできません。

ここから、神に仕える者も学ばされることがあります。
私たちの心は、私生活は、ガラス張りにも耐えられるものでしょうか？

詩篇にはこのような告白があります。

神よ。私を探り、私の心を知ってください。
私を調べ、私の思い煩いを知ってください。
私のうちに傷のついた道があるか、ないかを見て、
私をとこしえの道に導いてください。

恵み深い主の前にひざまずきこのように祈りを捧げましょう。

Teamwork or homework?

Christmas is coming so we decorated our church in Nakanoshima. A sense of solidarity and achievement has been a specialty of Japanese people since economic growth. This sense is on the base of business community. By the way, cult groups have beautiful teamwork but their base is a wrong sense of value.

How about a church? Although we decorate our church, we don’t get any money. If we decorate our church because of duty, common sense, or good behavior, we might not be different from religion. The answer is God’s family. Family becomes one by the name of God. What a wonderful scene it is?

Psalm 133:1

Don’t pummel without hitting any

Population of Christians in Japan is less than 1%. People in the world say Japan is a grave of mission but God’s word is the truth even in Japan.

I’ll introduce Mr. Takayama who is a champion of cult issue. Korean cult groups are afraid of him. He is seventies but keeps hitting a punching bag even now.

We can win by hitting others. This champion told me we need to be right on target for our mission.

Self-contradiction

Pakistan is an Islamic country. A religious scripture of Islam is the Koran (Qur’an) and they believe the Koran is the only guideline. Jesus Christ is a great prophet for them but it has been banned to use a word, Jesus Christ, through e-mail since 21st of Nov. If He is a great prophet for Muslims, He is an important person and it is supposed to be variance with banning.

The Bible doesn’t have any contradictions and is God’s message which matches perfectly. The Bible is eternal covenant which doesn’t need to add or withdraw any.

Isaiah 59:21

Preparation for winter

I changed tires to winter tires on 21st of Nov. We already started to prepare for winter season. These photos are winter tires and winter wiper blades but what is the last one?

This is an ice scratcher which scratches ice on car winders. (This one has boa inside of it.) We are sensitive to sensate things and try to prepare perfectly.

How about preparation of our heart toward God? Do we calm down and fix our heart to the Lord before we worship? Are we ready for the Lord’s Second Coming? Father in Heaven prepared heaven for us because of His love. Just believe the Lord, Jesus, without feeling uneasy.

John 14:1~2

Better than training our body

When I went to Taiwan, I visited a park in Taipei. It was good public order and idyllic atmosphere. There were some training equipments which anyone can use in free. There were no weight plates and we can train our body through the use of our weight.

We have spirit, soul, and body. Each parts affect each other so the Bible tells us training our body is also good but training of our faith gives us better life.

1 Timothy 4:8

Gift from God

Mr. Wood, William, is a wonderful teacher who teaches the Bible in Japanese. He is diligent and I assume he had studied Japanese so hard. His pronunciation is totally different from those who were born and raised in America. When Mr. Wood is speaking, if I close my eyes, I misunderstand a Japanese announcer is speaking.

The almighty God gives us gift. The important thing for Christians is we use this gift properly and with pure motive. This gift fills our needs and shows God’s glory.

2 Corinthians 9:15

What is cult?

Cult has various forms, such as religion, movement, seminar, business, and so on. Heresy can be defined by the Bible but cult can’t so the criterion can be different depending on specialists or countries. The common points are they use mind-control and phobia which is a concept of anxiety and fear. Also, cult groups hid their identity or true purpose in the beginning or they reveal their identity step by step. Their problem is to have harmful effects to people’s mind and body and society. In Japan, the number of victims and their family members who consult to lawyers or those who are described as a specialist is increasing. The only reason why I provide advice for victims is I’m a Christian.

In Ephesians, it says Christians should do good deeds whenever they have a chance. The Bible gives the true answer toward cult groups who quote the Bible.

Ephesians 5:15~16

Joy of a hand-made obento

Whenever I visit my friend in the east side of Hokkaido, I eat a hand-made obento for lunch. I don’t know why but I feel relieved and I can boost the motivation of my mission there.

There was a boy who gave his 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread to Jesus. There were about 5,000 men there so these foods were not sufficient for them but it doesn’t matter about these visible numbers for God. As a result of it, everyone was filled.

This is a miracle through this boy who believed and gave his food to Jesus. The lady who makes the obento for me always says humbly, “I’m sorry that I use only ready-made.” However, her heart, not luxuriousness, gives me joy.

John 6:9

Seeds which make fruit

Jesus used parables to explain the truth. One of them is the parable which seed fell on good ground and increased thirtyfold, sixty, and a hundred. Seed is the word of God and the gospel.

When the word of God fell on out heart, it grows, has deep roots, and makes fruit. Many things try to make roots in our heart. There are many attractive things in this world but only God’s gospel makes fruit which is the eternal life.

Mark 4:8

チームワーク？ホームワーク？

クリスマスも近づき、ＣＯＲ中の島では飾り付けを行いました。

連帯感や達成感は、経済成長期から日本の職場のお家芸です。
これは、あくまでも経済活動という基盤のうえです。

ちなみに、カルト団体にも美しいチームワークは存在します。
ただ、根本的に誤った（歪められた）価値観が前提です。

では、教会はどうでしょうか？

飾り付けをしてもお金はもらえません。
義務？常識？善行？　それでは宗教と変わらないでしょう。

答えは、神の家族だからです。

神の御名によって家族がひとつになる。
なんと素晴らしい光景でしょうか。

空を打つ拳闘はせず

日本はクリスチャン人口が１％未満の状態が続いています。
海外からは、宣教の墓場などと呼ばれています。

しかし、神様のことばはこの日本でもゆるがない真理です。

カルト問題の王者Mr, Takayama牧師を紹介します。
韓国系カルトにとって恐れられる存在であり、七十代となった今でも、サンドバックを叩き続けます。

拳闘では、当てることが勝利につながります。
この王者からは、伝道も的を得る必要があるのだと教えられます。

コリント人への手紙第一　９章２６節

自己矛盾

パキスタンは、イスラム教国です。
イスラム教の聖典は、コーラン（クルアーン）であり、彼らの唯一の指針とされています。
彼らにとってイエスキリストは、大預言者と位置付けられているそうです。

それにも関わらず、携帯電話のメールでは、イエスキリストという文字は禁止用語となり、１１月２１日から検閲の対象となっています。

大預言者であるならば、イスラム教徒にとっても重要であり、禁止することは矛盾しているはずです。

聖書は矛盾が無く、完全に調和された神様からのメッセージです。
付け足すことも、差し引くことも必要のないとこしえの契約なのです。

イザヤ書　５９章２１節

冬の備え

今月２１日に、車のタイヤをスタッドレスに交換しました。
雪国では、すでに冬の備えが始まっています。
画像は、上からスタッドレスタイヤ、ワイパーブレードですが、これは何でしょうか？

これは、車のウィンドウガラスが凍りついた時に使う氷落としです。
（内側はボワ付き！）

私たちは、五感に感じるものには敏感であり、万全に備えようとします。
では、神様に対する心の備えはどうでしょうか。

礼拝を捧げる前に自分の心を静めて、主だけに思いを向けているでしょうか？
いつ主が再び来られてもよい歩みをしていますか？

天の父は、その愛のゆえに、私たちに究極の備え、天国を用意してくださいました。

心を騒がすことなく、主イエス様を信じましょう。

肉体の鍛錬に勝るもの

以前に台湾に行った時のことです。
台北市内にある公園は、治安もよく、のどかな雰囲気でした。

そこには、無料で使えるトレーニング器具がありました。
この器具には重量プレートが無く、自分の体重を利用して負荷がかかる仕組みです。

人は、霊、たましい、からだを持つ存在です。
それぞれが、互いに影響しあいます。

ですから、聖書には、肉体を鍛えることも益であると書かれています。

しかし、信仰の歩みという鍛錬は、さらに、すぐれた人生をもたらしてくれます。

テモテへの手紙第一　４章８節

神の賜物

ウィリアム・ウッドさんは、日本語で聖書を教える優れた教師です。
勤勉な方で、相当な努力もあったことでしょう。

しかし、その発音は、とてもアメリカで生まれ育った人のものではありません。
目を閉じていると、日本人のアナウンサーかと思うほどです。

全能である神様は、私たちに賜物（ギフト）を与えて下さるお方です。
キリスト者にとって、重要なのは、純粋な動機で、正しく用いることです。

その賜物は、奉仕する者の必要を満たし、神の栄光を現わすことでしょう。

コリント人への手紙第二　９章１５節

カルトとは

カルトには、宗教やムーブメント、セミナーやビジネスなど様々な形態があります。
異端は聖書から定義されますが、カルトはそうではありません。
そのため、専門家や国によっても、判断基準が違うことがあります。

共通点は、マインドコントロールとフォビア（不安や恐れの概念）です。
また、最初の時点で、正体や本当の目的を隠す、あるいは、段階的に明らかにすることでしょう。
問題は、人々の精神と肉体、そして、社会的に悪影響を及ぼすことです。

日本では、被害者及びその家族が専門家（と称される）や弁護士などに相談するケースが増えています。

自分がこの相談を受ける理由は、キリスト者である他にありません。

エペソ人への手紙には、あらゆる機会に善を用いるように書かれています。

精神面、そして聖書を引用するカルトに対して、聖書は真の解決を与えてくれます。

エペソ人への手紙　５章１５～１６節

What is heresy?

Heresy is a group who teaches different things from the Bible even though they use the Bible and say they are Christians. Distinct differences are
1. Different God They deny Christ is God.
2. Different gospel They deny to be saved by faith.
3. Different standard They deny the Bible is God’s word.

The standard is the Bible. It shouldn’t be changed by our convenience or feeling. The Bible warns us clearly heresy makes us perish.

Churches carry out a mission to share the true gospel to people in heresy groups because the Lord also loves people who are caught up in heresy so that He was on the cross for them.

Acts 4:12

The value of life

On 11th of October, an important negotiation between a government of Israel and Hamas, an Islamic militant group, was succeeded. It was a prisoner swap between them. They decided to release 1,027 Palestinians from Israel. How many Israeli was released from Palestinian Territory? The answer is only one. 1027 people were released only for one Sergeant Sharid, Guilad who was abducted in Gaza in June, 2006.

Why did Israel accept this condition? Palestinians pressed ahead with suicide attack and the government of Israel agreed to hold a negotiation that releases 1027 Palestinians for 1 Israeli.

Aside from whether you are pro-Israel or not, it is clear that the value of life on both sides is different. Eternal life Jesus gives us is more valuable than this. It is more than anything in this world.

The time with smile

The time when we spent a time with a mission team from Hawaii in Sapporo was filled with smile. I was so happy to see their shining smiles. Job experienced unthinkable troubles but later on he retrieved his joy and laughing. People who are in tribulations or trials! Please believe the Lord gives you smile like Job.
Job 8:21

The time we promised reunion

The day when we see them off came. Since the day was a national holiday (10th of October), some people from Church on the Rock Nakanoshima came to the airport to see them off.

The bridge called a friendship was built from HOPE CHAPEL Kaneohe to Japan. A person who took absences with leave, a person who had a part time job, and a person who gave up to come to Japan because of her financial problem could join this mission trip because everything is possible for God.

How many churches are helping God’s family without expectation of a return? Love of fileo is totally wonderful. The time when we promised reunion had passed.
