Insight

Mr. and Mrs. Suzuki are filled with "Aloha Spirit". I still remembered clearly when the first time I met him. I went to HOPE Chapel in Hawaii with some of our church members. At that time, there was a direct flight from New Chitose airport to Honolulu airport. We left New Chitose in the evening of Sunday, we arrived in Honolulu, the same day in the morning of Sunday. We arrived there on time and went to HOPE Chapel to attend Sunday service though, we struggled from a jet lag and sleepiness. A man with white hair talked to me with smile. It was tough for me to have a conversation in English when I had jet lag but the man was persistent. (He tried to welcome all who came from Japan.)After awhile, I asked someone who the person is and I found out that he is Pastor Aaron, who planted HOPE Chapel with Pastor Moore.

He has secret ability under his smile. That is insight to see into people immediately. He also has an experience but I believe this is a gift from the Lord to HOPE Chapel.

Many people come to church. Some people seek the Lord genuinely but some people bring serious problems to church. We accept people for what they are, so we need to have insight. It is different from doubting or discrimination. We need to love people and guide the church the right way. This is an ability that Jesus had when He came to this world as a human being.
