What is modesty?
The person in this picture is Mr. Masuyama who came to Sapporo last July. He has a big social responsibility and makes a large contribution to Christianity in Japan. When people did good thing and succeeded, they want to be proud of themselves. Cult groups or new religious groups praise themselves all the time. A modest person is the one who is praised by others, not by him- or herself. Whenever I talk to him, I realize a magnificence of being faithful and modest. God the Father says He is watching such a modest person in private. It is possible for the people who is in Christ to acquire modesty and go through life accepted by others and God the Father.
Proverbs 27:2
