While I was driving in the devastated area, it was too horrible to look at. Cars were burnt, ships were on the street, and houses became debris. Everyone in Japan is asking and groaning for answers. Why did it happen? Why did we believe we are safe? Why did it happen to my family? No one has the answer.
Job in the Bible was blameless and righteous but he lost his wealth, health, and everything. He wanted to know the reason and asked God why but he couldn’t get the answer and his situation was only getting worse. Through his experience, Job proclaimed like this. “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.” Although we don’t understand and can’t accept what happened in our lives, we believe almighty God loves us and gives us salvation. As the result, the rest of Job’s life was blessed.
