Kanchu Misogi was held at Hokkaido Shrine on 17th of Jan. 2010. Misogi is a ceremony to purify those who do Shinto rituals or are tarnished with water. It is surprising to see people who are standing in a frigid cold but does it turn to be innocent with it? If they do the same thing in a court, will the sentence overturned? The one who deliver a sentence is the one who has an authority and not ourselves. No matter how sinful we are, God gives us forgiveness. The Lord told us He will whiten our sin more than snow.
