False announcement ~ as a result of it

Mr. Yamanaka received the Nobel Prize for iPS cells. Right after that, one happening strokes public fears. As the result of it, Mr. Moriguchi was reprimanded by Tokyo University on 19^th of Oct. The reason is the university was disgraced and dishonored.

How about a tentative theory called evolution? It is clear that Piltdown man who was discovered in England in 1912 is a edited discovery but no one took a responsibility. Many false theories were announced, such as Java man in 1889, Ramapithecus, Orth man, Lucy in Australopithecus. Some people say this is not a mistake and false but why no one says publicly this was wrong? Not only that, a new tentative theory is made based on the false theory and many people believe this is a science. This is a deliberate false announcement. 

There are many wonderful discoveries and false discoveries. True Christians have a key to be immune to deceiving or trend. The key is we, Christians, stand on the truth, this universe is a piece of art by the Creator.

Romans 1:25

Filled with the Holy Spirit

There are many things had in the time of the Bible and have at churches in this time. These are a cross on a triangle-shaped roof, a priest’s gown, a pastor’s tie, church buildings for Sunday service, and so on. Of course, these are not sins and they might be good and convenient. Also, we can have the Bible that has 66 books. However, if there are things which had in the time of the Bible and don’t have right now, it’s a big problem.

It’s faith for the Lord, Christ, although they have persecutions.

It’s thirstiness and hungriness for the word of God because they don’t have the Bible.

They are filled with the Holy Spirit to become a witness of Christ.

It is impossible to get these things above with money, theology books, psychology, and so on. These things above are inside of Christians who live in poverty, discrimination, and persecution. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Also, true disciples are filled with the Holy Spirit even today.

Acts 7:54~56

When we are weak

We sometimes feel weak in our lives. Some people feel weak when they are in trials, difficulties, persecutions, sickness, and so on. If you rely on other people or yourself at that time, you will be disappointed. You can justify yourself or pretend to be ok. However, although you have a fever and keep sneezing, if you say “I’m fine.”, it’s ridiculous. 

Paul said he experiences the power of Christ when he feels weak. 

When Paul was Saul, he had authority. Paul’s faith was changed to be proud of his weakness not the authority or his power after he was called to a disciple. 

True Christians rely on the Lord when we feel weak. At that time, we experience the power of almighty and God’s grace.

2 Corinthians 12:9~10

God with us

When I visit many places in Japan and overseas, I am asked, “when are you coming back here next time?” 

Although we want to be together, it’s impossible for us to be at several places at the same time. Only almighty God can be at many places at the same time. 

Jesus is always with us from the time of the Bible to the end of the world.

Mathew 28:20

希望を与える人

今年、ＨＯＰＥチャペルがミニストリー３０周年記念を迎えます。

時差もあり、宣教に向かう前日なので、普通は少しでも休みたいはずです。

新しい年へ

昨年は、ＣＯＲミニストリーが始まってから初めて、年間洗礼者が５００名を超えました。

人は、まだ見ていないことを信じることができません。

しかし、聖霊様が心に触れることによって可能となります。

また、大きな責任を負う時に不安やプレッシャーを感じます。

それでもキリスト者は、聖霊様と主の御力に頼ることができるのです。

今年も、大いなる神に期待して前進して行きます。
