異端とは

異端とは、聖書を用いながら、またはクリスチャンを名乗りながら、異なる信仰または異なる教えを信じていることを表します。

明確な違いは、
１、異なる神　　　キリストは神であることを
２、異なる福音　　救いは信仰によることを
３、異なる基準　　聖書は神のことばであることを　　否定することです。

ただし、その基準はあくまでも聖書となります。
これは、人の都合や感情によって変わることがあってはならないからです。

聖書には、異端は滅びをもたらすと、はっきりと警告しています。
しかし、教会は、異端の人々にも真の福音を伝える使命を負っているのです。

なぜなら、主は異端に捕らわれている人々をも愛し、十字架にかかってくださったのですから。

使徒の働き　４章１２節

いのちの価値

１０月１１日にイスラエル政府とハマス（イスラム過激派組織）による重大な交渉が成立しました。
それは、両陣営による捕虜の交換です。

イスラエルからは、パレスチナ人１０２７人が釈放されることが決定しました。
では、パレスチナ側から釈放されるイスラエル人は何人なのでしょう。

答えは、一人だけです。
２００６年６月ガザで拉致されたギラド・シャリド軍曹一人に対して、１０２７人です。

なぜ、イスラエル側はこのような条件を受け入れたのでしょう？

一方は、人による自爆テロを敢行し、もう一方は、１対１０２７でも交渉に応じたわけです。
親イスラエルかどうかという議論は別としても、双方の命に関する価値観の違いは明らかでしょう。

イエス様が与えて下さる永遠のいのちは、それ以上に価値あるものです。
それは、全世界の何よりも・・・。

マタイの福音書　１６章２６節

笑顔がこぼれる時

ハワイチームと札幌で過ごした時間は、笑顔があふれていました。
あまりにも輝いていて見ているだけで嬉しくなってきます。

ヨブは、想像を絶する苦難を経験しました。
しかし、後に彼は笑いと喜びを取り戻します。

今、苦難や試練の中にいる人は、主がこのような笑顔を与えて下さることを、どうぞ信じてください。

ヨブ記　８章２１節

再会を誓う時

彼らを見送る日が来てしまいました。
祝日（１０月１０日）なので、ＣＯＲ中の島からも何人かが空港に行きました。

この友情という橋は、ＨＯＰＥカネオヘから日本にかけられました。
ある者は有給休暇をとり、ある者はこの宣教のためにアルバイトをして、また、経済的事情であきらめていた人も主が可能にして下さいました。

果たして、どれ程の教会が見返りを求めずに神の家族を助けているでしょうか？
フィレオの愛は、本当に素晴らしいものです。

それぞれの思いを胸に、再会を誓う時は過ぎて行きました。

箴言　１７章１７節

証をする時

ハワイから来た彼らは、出来る限りの方法でキリストを証しました。
フラ、ウクレレ教室にコンサートとハワイ料理、そして教会。

全ての人が伝道者ではありません。

しかし、新生した全ての人は救いの証を持っています。
誰もが、自分の人生に何が起こったのかを伝えることができるのです。

ヨハネの福音書　１５章２６～２７節

食卓を囲む時

ハワイチームが来てから、食べる機会が多くなりました。

聖書には、食事の場面が多く出てきます。

イエス様は、弟子たちとともに食事をしています。
ペンテコステの出来事を体験した教会も、喜びと真心をもって食事をしました。

The time which emits a rich fragrance

Whenever I arrive at the airport of Hawaii, rich aroma welcomes me. I feel “I’m in Hawaii”. Whenever a mission team from HOPE Chapel Kaneohe comes to Sapporo, they give us a Hawaiian fragrance. Although they had a jet lag, they sang Hawaiian songs and danced Hula at a Hawaiian concert. Audience experienced their rich fragrance for a fleeting moment.

The concert will be held from 3:30 p.m. on 8th of Oct. at our church. The Lord, whenever we go out to the world, let us be people who emit a rich fragrance of Christ.

Reunion time

This photo is at Shin-Chitose airport where we meet with a mission team from Hawaii. A man with a great smile is Mr. Hunaki and has been coming to our church since Hawaiian Night 2 years ago. Since Pastor Scott had a baby last year, he couldn’t come to Sapporo so it has been a long time to see him. We want to enjoy the time with God’s family.

The time we look forward to seeing each other

Finally, a mission team from Hawaii is coming. Our church in Sapporo is looking forward to seeing them.

What do Christians long for the most? That is the Second Coming of the Lord, Jesus. We don’t know when and how. The sure thing is Jesus is coming here as a bridegroom to welcome a bride which is the church. It will be a wonderful feast.

Body and mind

I got a foot massage for 2 straight days because I haven’t been able to get rid of my fatigue. A masseuse told me why I hadn’t come earlier. My feet got swollen and my muscles and ankles were stiff. After the foot massage, my feet became light and my fatigue eased.

When we get tired, our body becomes inflexible and it’s easier to get injured or sick. It’s not only about our body. Stubborn and hardened mind isn’t also good. When God’s Spirit comes upon us, hardened mind like a stone is changed to warm mind. Lord, please keep changing our body and mind.

Ezekiel 11:19

The unity of the Bible and the unity of this world

The big 3 religious organization, World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), World Council of Churches (WCC), and Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID), announced that they agreed to put their faith in practice this June in Geneva, Switzerland. Is this a historical and joyous event? Is this God’s plan? Of course, agreement is better than division but it is wrong to judge only by this logic because this is not an agreement from the Bible. It was those whose beliefs differ from the origin of the Bible, such as those who believe that the Holy Spirit is conscience or those who idolize saints, who are trapped by the heresy which brought about this huge network.

The unity of this world tells that people are the center and Christ who is a head is not the center. They say this is a political and earthly product. The Bible and the Holy Spirit tell us that churches should agree by faith, love, and the Spirit in this modern world.

Psalm 127:1

Tradition and the word of truth

When I came back from the devastated area, I had a hangnail which I haven’t had for a long time. In Japan, it is said that “if you are not obedient to your parents, you get a hangnail.” but the true reasons are drying around nails, poor circulation, scratch, weakening immune system, and so on. This is just a tradition but although it has no foundation, it has an implication for people who believe.

On the other hand, what does God’s word say? “Respect your parents. If you do that, you will be given happiness and longevity.” Some people don’t understand what that means. Actually, this word connects to our identity or self-image. How many people are suffering from this problem? We shouldn’t be influenced by traditions which don’t have any foundations and we should think about each Word of God.

Psalm 119:50

Why couldn't big power win?

There is a war museum in Ho Chi Minh City. It has brutal reality. U.S.A couldn’t win the war against Vietnam which caused suffering to many people for a long period of time. After the end of the Vietnam War, China made inroads into Vietnam but China withdrew all military forces from there in a brief period of 1 month.

It means Vietnam didn’t lose to two big powers, U.S.A. and China. Maybe because Vietnamese were patient and had a tactic but we can also say that these two countries were just arrogant. Especially, China may have thought that they can win because they have force power and Vietnam had a long war. The Bible warns us that boastfulness leads to destruction. Needless to say, a war leaves deep scars to both countries but why can’t we avoid wars?

The Bible also tells us boastfulness is the origin of fight. Do you have any fights around you? In your family, between your partner, between your friends, or at your church. It might be impossible for individuals to avoid arguments but the Lord’s will is to repent our boastfulness and avoid arguments around us.

Proverbs 13:10

After the incident

10 years has elapsed since the September 11 attacks. Since that day, not only America but the world has changed a lot. Also, 6 months has elapsed since the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11. It takes a long time to recover the area and the crippled nuclear power stations brought unease and fear to the world.

A common point of these two incidents is the reality in which it is impossible to return to the state of which it was before. A clock keeps ticking but we have a hope from Christ. No matter how cruel reality is and we have lost peace and safety, the Lord is gracious, merciful, and is the Savior for believers.

James 5:11

満たされる時

キリスト者がひとつとなり、ただ主だけを求める時、この世界と異次元の満たしを体験します。

礼拝は、天国の前味です。

これ以上、何の言葉も、説明も必要ないでしょう。

エペソ人への手紙　１章２３節

香りを放つ時

ハワイの空港に着くと、何ともいえない香りが迎えてくれます。
その時、「ああ、ハワイに来た」という実感がわきます。

ＨＯＰＥカネオヘのチームが札幌に来るときに、いつもハワイの香りを届けてくれます。

時差ボケにも負けずに、早速、ハワイアン・コンサートが行われました。
集まった人たちは、つかの間ですが、その香りを体験したことでしょう。
このコンサートは、１０月８日（午後３時半～）にも行われます。

主よ、私たちが世に出て行く時に、キリストの香りを放つ者として下さい。

コリント人への手紙第二　２章１５節

再会の時

写真は、新千歳空港でハワイチームと再会した様子です。
笑顔の男性（船木さん）は、二年前のハワイアン・ナイトがきっかけとなり、それ以降、毎週礼拝に来るようになりました。

スコット牧師は、昨年、赤ちゃんが生まれて二年ぶりの札幌です。

神の家族との時間を存分によろこび楽しみたいと思います。
